In two weeks, I will cease to be an undergraduate.
Five days after that, I will arrive in Turkey, to begin the everlasting process of acquiring more languages.
Three months thereafter, I will show up at the first day of my first year as a medieval history Ph.D. student at Large Research University, which is why I need the languages in the first place.
This blog is my attempt to join the vast contingent of medievalist bloggers that throng the tubes of the internet -- a process that feels vaguely like jumping into an ocean whilst waving my arms about frantically.
